The original Plaza Café location opened on Historic Route 66 in 1954. Originally a house trailer from Albuquerque and moved to Gallup in 1953, Mr. Tarro purchased the restaurant trailer from the old bus station on Aztec and relocated it to Route 66. Around 1980 the business was converted into the current Plaza Café by Mr. and Mrs. Bradford and subsequently sold to Lottie Bradford’s around 1988. Plaza Café was sold to Jesse Consulting in 1999. Today Jesse Consulting continues to carry on the tradition of homemade soups, breakfast gravy, biscuits and homemade tortillas, with an ever expanding & changing menu, at its Albuquerque location.
Enjoy diverse flavors with the timeless appeal of Route 66.
